Akufo-Addo & Bawumia Have Reduced NDC’s ‘World Bank’ In The North To ‘Susu Box’ – Information Minister Teases
Minister for Information, Fatimatu Abubakar has touted the good works of the New Patriotic Party under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the Northern Regions of Ghana.
The Minister, on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, stated emphatically that the development projects done by the current administration for the people of the North are “unprecedented”.
According to her, “almost all the major development projects in the North were done by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo”.
She listed some of the projects worth noting as better road networks and hospitals among other infrastructure.
She revealed that the only interchange plus about eight bridges in the North were all constructed by the government.
“What is even more interesting is that our Agenda 111 is in every district”, she intimated, stressing this is to ensure the residents benefit from proper healthcare.
She mentioned one of the hospitals which is situated at Garu has been completed and will soon be commissioned for use whereas the others are at various stages near completion.
She added that the government, also as part of measures to develop the North, has given the Tamale airport a facelift, hence the airport now looks very impressive and up to par.
Noting down the impact of the New Patriotic Party in the Northern Regions, primarily due to the role of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Fatimatu Abubakar teased the NDC saying “what (the North) used to be their world bank has now been reduced to a susu box”.
