1st Presidential Appointments: John Mahama Elects ‘Bosom Friend’ Julius Debrah As Chief of Staff Again


President-elect John Dramani Mahama has reportedly made his first appointments to his office at the Jubilee House.

John Mahama will be sworn in on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 and many Ghanaians expect him to deliver on his promises to making Ghana a better nation.

In line with his work, he has once again, in a letter sighted by Ghmessenger, appointed Julius Debrah as his Chief of Staff.

Dr. Callistus Mahama has been appointed the Executive Secretary to the President and Goosie Tanoh will become the Presidential Advisor responsible for the 24-hour economy.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a former Deputy Information Minister and an aide to John Mahama, has been appointed the President’s Spokesperson.

The appointments take effect from Tuesday, January 7.
