2024 Election Is One Of EC’s Finest – Kabilla Hails Jean Mensa & Her Commissioners

James Kwabena Bomfeh has hailed the Electoral Commission over the outcome of the 2024 elections.

The 2024 elections saw John Dramani Mahama, former President and leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), elected as President again and his party winning overwhelming majority in Parliament.

Over 180 members of the NDC form the 9th Parliament.

However, the elections were characterized by some pockets of violence as electoral officials at polling stations were threatened to declare the results in favor of some NDC candidates.

Also, after the Electoral Commission Chair, Jean Mensa declared the winner in the elections, some NDC fanatics stormed storage facilities and other places destroying properties, looting and tearing down billboards belonging to the former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who contested the presidential seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

But to James Kwabena Bomfeh, widely known as “Kabilla”, the Commission however deserves an applause for their conduct.

To him, the “2024 general elections is one of the finest if not the finest by the Electoral Commission”.

He said this during Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show.
