2024 Election: Mahama’s Victory Was Merely ‘Luck’ – Mussa Dankwah Asserts
The 2024 election which was historic as it marked the first time a former President had won an election in Ghana and the first time a sitting Vice President went head-to-head with an Ex-President was also see as one of the critical elections in Ghana’s history.
This election was perhaps the election with the most predictions or prophecies and moreover one that saw an unprecedented outcome as John Dramani Mahama won by 57 percent and with over 180 Members of Parliament.
In view of this, some analysts say the electorates voted out of anger against Ex-President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Other critics also claim Mahama didn’t win the elections because he was the right candidate but rather because Ghanaians didn’t have any other option.
Therefore, what may have indeed accounted for the defeat of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the previous presidential election?
Global InfoAnalytics boss, Mussa Dankwah, shared his thoughts in an interview on Peace FM’s flagship programme “Kokrokoo”.

Mussa Dankwah who did an extensive research into the elections with his outcomes revealing Mahama’s victory describes the victory as purely luck on the side of the leader of the National Democratic Congress.
“This is a fluke”, he told host Nana Yaw Kesseh.
He explained that Ghanaians were fed up with Nana Addo’s administration and as a way of showing their displeasure voted against the New Patriotic Party although Nana Addo wasn’t the candidate.
