48th SWAG Awards: Dr. Bawumia Supports Female Sports Player & Journalist With GHC 50000

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated to support this year’s SWAG Awards.

Dr. Bawumia presented an amount of 50,000 cedis to support the 48th edition of the Awards.

Out of the donation, 10,000 cedis will each be presented to the “Female Footballer of the Year” and “Sports Journalist of the Year”.

The Vice President has since 2022 adopted the two award categories ensuring the winners receive cash prizes from him.

Outstanding Ghanaian Sports geniuses for the year 2023 will be honoured at the 48th edition of the SWAG Awards happening tonight with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia expected to be the Special Guest for the event.
