I’ll Increase The Daily Allowances Of Prisoners – Dr. Bawumia

Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says his government will increase the daily allowance of prisoners.

Currently, prisoners are on a daily feeding allowance of GH 1.80 cedis per day and the amount remains same till date.

Speaking during his campaign tour of Akim Oda, Dr. Bawumia expressed concerns over the amount and revealed it will be increased to GH 6 cedis per day from next year.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has over the years been supporting the Prisons Service even from his personal coffers.
