I Strongly Believe Ghana Will Be A Better Nation Some Day – Prof. Smart Sarpong
Prof. Smart Sarpong has expressed optimism over the growth of Ghana.
According to him, there is hope for the country to develop and be developed.
Commenting on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, the Senior Researcher at the Kumasi Technical University believed there are better days ahead for Ghanaians but indicated the growth of the country is predicated on the collective responsibility of all Ghanaians.
“The challenge sometimes we do have which delays our growth as a nation is instead of working together our problems, we try to politicize it and sometimes you see a section of the people extremely happy that the wrong has occurred but this is not the conceptual definition of politics. Conceptually, it is not destroy one to come and take power but alternative policies”, he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.
He called for a change of attitude to improve Ghana’s economic situation, emphasizing “I am optimistic about this Republic. To me, Ghana will be a better nation”.
Prof. Sarpong hailed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s Ghana Card initiative stating it is a major contribution to the formalization of Ghana, hence he stressed “formalizing the economy as we continue to do gives me hope that Ghana will be great in the future”.
