Stop Attacking Our Personnel…They Risk Their Lives Daily To Protect You! – Ghana Fire Service Warns

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has condemned recent attacks on its personnel and vowed to pursue justice.

The GNFS says it will take strict legal action against perpetrators.

In two separate incidents, firefighters on duty were physically and verbally assaulted.

Head of Public Relations of the Service, Desmond E. Ackah, in a statement, cautioned the public that “it shall defend its personnel performing their lawful duties at all times and fight culprits of firefighter assualts with all its might under the law”.

“Our personnel risk their lives daily to protect citizens and property, and they deserve respect and support from the public”, part of the statement read.
