Dec 7 Election: Bawumia ‘Number 1’ On Ballot Paper, Mahama Picks 8th

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party, is number 1 on the ballot paper for the December 7 elections.

His main contender, John Dramani Mahama, leader of the National Democratic Congress, comes 8th on the paper.

Speaking to the press after picking their ballots at the Electoral Commission where all the candidates gathered to perform an exercise for their positions, the Director of Elections for the New Patriotic Party, Evans Nimako, described their position as the “will of God”.

Independent candidates, Nana Kwame Bediako alias IamFreedom or Cheddar and Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen picked the 12th and 13th positions respectively.
