Popular Waakye Seller, Auntie Muni, Has Died

Renowned Ghanaian “waakye” seller, Auntie Imoro Muniratu, popularly called ‘Auntie Muni’, has passed away.

Her family confirmed the demise of the seller who has served many celebrities in Ghana.

The 72-year-old celebrated for her delicious waakye, according to her son, Alhassan Abdul Arafat, took ill and died on Wednesday, January 3 on admission at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra.
