NDC Knows They’re Losing Dec 7 Elections But Let’s Be Vigilant – NPP Told

Alexander Afenyo-Markin has advised the members of the New Patriotic Party not to fall for a trap set by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with regard to the current parliamentary standoff as four of the seats have been declared vacant.

The Minority has claimed majority in the House but the Majority Leader, Afenyo-Markin says it is all a ploy by the NDC to disrupt the political strategy of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

He stated that the Speaker’s order was activated in line with the NDC grand political agenda because “they know they are losing the elections. So, this game they are playing last minute is part of the mind to make the country ungovernable to bring chaos and cause confusion. They won’t get it from us”.

Afenyo-Markin called on his party to stay focused saying “this is a political party that, in 2020, they did not even collate their figures, yet they claimed the NPP had rigged the elections. They said the Electoral Commission had rigged it and they will repeat the same thing. So, let us be vigilant. Let’s collate, get our figures; let’s work hard”.

He made this comment during an interview on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo”.
