We Won’t Allow Minority To Force Us Into A Bloodbath – Afenyo-Markin Explains NPP MPs’ Parliamentary Boycott

The leader of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament has sworn never to lead his people to cause mayhem in the Legislative House.

According to him, their colleagues, NDC Minority, have planned to do things to annoy and compel them into a confrontation resulting in a bloodbath but his Caucus won’t fall prey to them.

Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin told host Kwami Sefa Kayi during Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” Friday morning the reason why the NPP parliamentarians boycotted parliamentary sitting on Thursday, November 7.

They had vacated their chamber for the second time after the Minority once again took over their seats.

Explaining matters on Kokrokoo, he revealed the main reason they boycotted the House on Thursday was to avoid a bloodshed, stressing if they had come into their chamber, there was a high probability that a brawl would have broken out.

“Perish the thought that it will be under my leadership that there will bloodshed in Parliament. I won’t allow that and I repeat I won’t give them a theatre. This is the third trap they’ve set”, he said.
