Mahama Will Collapse Free SHS And Agenda 111 – Info. Minister Cautions Ghanaians
Minister for Information, Fatimatu Abubakar has cautioned Ghanaians against voting for Ex-President John Dramani Mahama who has promised to review the Free Senior High School policy introduced by the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.
Contributing to “Kokrokoo” panel discussion show on Peace FM, Fatimatu Abubakar reminded Ghanaians of the position of John Mahama regarding the Free SHS.
He recounted Mr. Mahama telling Ghanaians he wouldn’t invest in the Free SHS even if he had the money and also saying it would take even advanced countries 20 years to implement such a policy, hence wondering how such a person can manage the programme.
The Minister warned should Ghanaians hand over the Free SHS to the former President, he will cripple it.
“I believe without a doubt that should former President Mahama get the opportunity, he will collapse the Free SHS. He will ruin the Agenda 111. He will bring a more severe dumsor among many other things that won’t help Ghana”, She remarked.
Touting the achievements of the incumbent government, she stated it has brought enormous relief to various homes, hence asked the electorates to elect Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to advance the progress of the nation.
“Since President Akufo-Addo came from 2017 till date, no student has been sacked from public SHS due to school fees. They know it is free. The schools know it is free; so it is a big win for this government…So, let’s vote for someone who is a problem solver whose vision is to enhance the progress of Ghana.”
