Sefa Kayi, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Lil Win Shortlisted For ‘Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards’
On Wednesday, 5th March, the studios of Game TV in Accra played host to the most anticipated event in the Ghanaian entertainment industry – the nominee unveiling for the Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards (GCIA).
The event, which was highly successful, saw a plethora of Ghanaian celebrities gracing the occasion with their presence.
As the cream of Ghana’s entertainment industry gathered at the venue, the atmosphere was electric with excitement and anticipation.
The nominee unveiling ceremony itself was a moment of truth for many of the celebrities in attendance as they eagerly awaited the announcement of the nominees in various categories and when the moment finally arrived, the room erupted into cheers and applause as the nominees were revealed.
Some of the notable celebrities who made the nominee list include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, James Gardiner, Akrobeko, Lil Win, Captain Smart, Kuami Sefa Kayi, Serwaa Amihere, Bola Ray, Osebo the Zaraman, Wendy Shay, Gyakie and many others .
For the “Most Impactful Ghanaian” nominees, Ibrahim Mahama, Dr Osei Kwame Despite, Patricia Poku Diabi, Dr. Gifty Akushika Lamptey, Samuel Amo Tobbin and Kevin Okyere of Springfield made the list.
The Corporate Impact Awards also saw nominees like MTN Ghana Foundation, KGL Foundation, Telecel Ghana, Tullow Ghana, Total Energies, Vivo Energy, Coca Cola Bottling Company, Kasapreko Company Ltd, Unilever Ghana and other companies unveiled as nominees.
The nominees were selected based on their outstanding contributions to the Ghanaian entertainment industry and the Ghanaian society through their impact in charity and philanthropic contributions and the winners will be announced at the main awards ceremony scheduled to take place on April 19, 2025.
The event was attended by a host of Ghanaian celebrities including James Gardiner, Peter Richie, Jeneral Ntatia, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Hon. Afia Akoto, Osebo the Zaraman, Countryman Songo, Adu Kumi, Jayana, Silva Lady, Londona, Eddie Ray and more.
The celebrities were treated to a night of entertainment.
In a statement, the CEO of the Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards, Ms. Bibi Bright expressed her delight at the success of the nominee unveiling event.

The Ghana Celebrity Impact Awards is an annual event that seeks to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of Ghanaian celebrities, companies and brands to the entertainment industry and the Ghanaian society through Impact.
The awards ceremony is expected to attract a host of top Ghanaian celebrities as well as companies and international guests.
