‘Your Presentation Was Powerful But Short’ – Charles Owusu Applauds Ato Forson Over 2025 Budget
Charles Owusu has applauded the Mahama administration over its 2025 budget presentation.
The budget was read by the Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, at Parliament on Tuesday, March 11.
Some highlights of the budget included the cancellation of betting tax, E-Levy and allocation of funds to various sectors to cushion them.
Commenting on the budget during Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Charles Owusu, former Head of Monitoring Unit at the Forestry Commission and 2024 independent parliamentary candidate for the Nkoranza constituency, hailed the Minister saying “I was happy with the way he presented the budget. He’s calm and his presentation was powerful but short”.
He also described the budget as a “good budget” but asked “why they want to do everything within a year?”
