‘There’s No Plan…No Passion In The Game’ – Heartbroken Sonnie Badu Fires Black Stars
Sonnie Badu has expressed his heartbreaking views on Ghana’s match against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, 2023 in Ivory Coast where this year’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) is ongoing.
The Ghanaian gospel star slammed the team and coach over what he believes was an unimpressive performance by them resulting in the national team, the Black Stars’ loss in their fist game to the Cape Verdeans.
Cape Verde routed the Black Stars by 2 goals to 1, causing Ghana’s team to tread cautiously in their next game with Egypt or else have their dreams of progressing in the AFCON shattered.
Sonnie Badu, giving an analysis of the game, concluded that the team is without purpose.
“Well, I don’t think we had a plan. There was no passion in the game”, he exclaimed in a video.
