AFCON 2023: ‘Ghana, Be Wise…Put On The Fighting Spirit!’ – Stonebwoy ‘Hopeful’ For Black Stars
Dancehall musician, Stonebwoy shares a strong faith in the Black Stars qualifying to the next stage in the AFCON happening in Ivory Coast.
The Black Stars’ match against Egypt today ended in a 2:2 draw.
Due to Ghana losing in their first game against Cape Verde, the hopes of Ghanaian fans have been shattered as the Black Stars have only a point on the Group B table and is at the bottom of the table.
Despite the despondency over Ghana’s chances of claiming the AFCON trophy, Stonebwoy is optimistic the team can pull a surprise but stresses it can only happen when they “put on the fighting spirit”.
“Let’s put on the fighting spirit. Ghana, let’s put on the fighting spirit…That’s all! Bro, we can over-qualify. What did Egypt play?…They didn’t really play any game. We only have to be wise!!”, he said after the match today.
