‘Bawumia Has Tricked Us’ – Pratt Reacts To Dan Botwe’s Appointment As NPP Campaign Chairman

Kwesi Pratt has expressed his dissatisfaction with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s choice of Dan Botwe to lead his campaign team.

The NPP flagbearer and Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has named his campaign team members and among them is the former General Secretary of the party, Dan Botwe, who is Chairman of the campaign.

Other people included in the team are the Chief Executive Officer of the State Transport Corporation and former National Communications Director of the NPP, Nana Akomea, and former First Vice-Chairman of the party, Fred Oware, appointed as Deputy Chairmen of the team.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Ex-President J.A Kufour and former National Chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay together with Joyce Aryee and a host of others serve as members of the campaign advisory Committee.

Discussing the team during Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo”, Kwesi Pratt questioned the involvement of Dan Botwe in the team, extolling the calm nature and behavior of Dan Botwe in addressing matters.

Pratt stated; “Bawumia is really a guy. He intentionally chose Dan Botwe because he is not troublesome.”

“He (Dan Botwe) will not even instigate anything for you to reply him in like manner. I’m not too happy about that; I mean how can we face him squarely? In fact, he won’t even give you the opportunity to face him because it is not in his nature to cause conflicts”, he jovially remarked.
