Dec 7 Election: Bawumia Will Make History – Nana B

Saturday, December 7, 2024 marks a very important event in Ghana as millions of Ghanaian electorates will on this day cast their votes for their favorite candidate to become Ghana’s next President.
This year’s election is seen to be uncommon because it will see two Northern leaders in a head-to-head competition for the presidential seat.
The two, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Ex-President, John Dramani Mahama, represent the major political parties, the New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress; hence the election is described by some political analysts as the “Clash of the Titans” and others call it the “Clash of the Northerners”.
Dr. Bawumia seeks to continue the reign of the NPP by breaking the eight-year governance cycle while Mr. Mahama counts on the electorates to make him President again.
As the nation awaits December 7, campaigns by both leaders have begun.
In view of this, Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party, is assertive that the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Bawumia, will emerge victor in the elections.
According to him, “Bawumia will be the President and he is going to make history. We will all be happy and Ghana is going to move forward”.
He made this assertion while speaking to issues broached on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo”.
