IMANI Backs Yvonne Nelson’s Call For ‘Dumsor’ Demo

President of policy think tank, IMANI, has backed the call by actress Yvonne Nelson for a second edition of #DumsorMustStop protest.

It could be recalled that Yvonne Nelson and some celebrities led Ghanaians in a demonstration against the perennial power cuts, locally referred to as “dumsor”, under the previous Mahama regime.

The actress, in a recent post, has also called for a protest against the incumbent government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for failing to address the power crisis.

Yvonne Nelson’s post read:

In response to Yvonne’s call, IMANI President, Franklin Cudjoe says his outfit is readying themselves to stage a similar protest and urged other people like Yvonne Nelson to go ahead with theirs.
