GRA/SML Deal: President Akufo-Addo Releases Full KPMG Report

President Nana Akufo-Addo has released the full KPMG report of the transaction between the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML) following calls to make it public.

A statement dated May 22, 2024, signed and issued by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Presidency, explained why the report has been released for public consumption stating the President is “in the interest of full transparency in governance, openness, and honesty with the public, has decided to waive the privilege under section 5 of the RTI Act and has directed the publication of the KPMG report in full”.
