Bawumia Has Forced Some People To Get To The Ground – Kwamena Duncan Shades Mahama

Kwamena Duncan

Former Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan has shaded the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, who in a media report was spotted in a market personally engaging with the traders as a part of his campaign strategy.

Ex-President John Mahama’s engagement with the traders is said to be a ploy to solicit their votes.

However, his move comes on the back of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s, the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party, campaign tour of the 16 Regions where he engages in house-to-house meetings with the masses canvassing them to vote for him to become Ghana’s next President.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Kwamena Duncan shot a stray bullet to the party now adopting this campaign strategy by Dr. Bawumia saying “he has forced some people to get to the ground”.

He cautioned Ghanaians against voting for Mr. Mahama in the December polls and reminded the electorates that Mr. Mahama constitutionally cannot go beyond four years meaning he renders no account to them should they make what he describes as a mistake to bring him into power.

He said “it is a choice which must be made and must be made wisely”, adding Dr. Bawumia is the right candidate to move Ghana forward because as for him, “after four years, he will have to come to you, the people, to render an account in hope of being re-elected for another four years”.
