Actor Yaw Dabo Visits Chef Failatu To Break Guinness World ‘Cook-a-Thon’ Record
Popular Kumawood actor, Yaw Dabo has visited Chef Failatu Abdul Razak, the Ghanaian chef attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon happening at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale, Northern Region.
The current Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon is held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes, but Chef Faila aims to cook for 120 hours to set a new record.
Yaw Dabo encouraged Chef Failatu to be steadfast in her attempt and also called for national support for her.
“Our sister is doing a cooking marathon, it is not easy to cook for five days. I am a cook, and I know how to cook, but I can’t do it. So I am happy for what our sister [Chef Faila] is doing, so let’s appreciate her”, he said during his visit.
He also delightfully expressed his love for the meals prepared by Failatu and singled out local delicacy, fufu, as his favorite.
“So I will eat fufu”, he offered to take a bowl from the chef.
