AFCON 2023: Fan Attacks Ghana’s Coach!

A Ghanaian soccer fan has been reportedly arrested in Abidjan following Ghana’s defeat in Sunday’s match.

The irate fan, clearly unhappy with the outcome of Sunday’s match between the Black Stars and Cape Verde, is said to have turned his rage on Ghana’s coach after the game.

The fan, according to sources, nearly assaulted Chris Hughton but for the timely intervention of Ghanaians present at the scene who managed to whisk the fan away and hand him over to the Police.

The Black Stars’ defeat in a 1-2 match against Cape Verde has plunged the fans and the nation into a deep state of disappointment as if the Stars lose to Egypt on Thursday will mark the end of Ghana’s dream in the tournament.
