AFCON 2023: Ghana’s Dream Shattered As Black Stars Draw Against Egypt

Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars have drawn with Egypt in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The Black Stars drew with Egypt by 2:2 to secure a point on their Group B table.

Ghana’s goals were both scored by West Ham’s star player, Mohammed Kudus, with Egyptian players, Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Mohamed, equalizing for their team.

The Egyptians had 58% of ball possession against 42% by the Ghanaian national team.

Egypt now jumps to the second position on the league table with 2 points and Cape Verde at the top spot with 3 points.

Mozambique and Ghana enjoy the third and fourth position respectively by 1 point each.

Due to the Black Stars’ loss in their first game against Cape Verde which ended in 2:1, the team may be on their way home from the tournament.
