The elephants of Ivory Coast are the 2023 African Cup of Nations champions.
The elephants triumphed over the Super Eagles of Nigeria by 2 goals to 1, thereby winning the trophy for their country.
The first half of the game saw a fierce performance from the Super Eagles who secured the lead in the early minutes.
But the Ivory Coast players fought back in the second half, equalizing and netting a winner to send their spectators into a state of frenzied ecstasy.
The match which ended 2:1 gave the Ivory Coast the winning title as the host nation and winners simultaneously.
