Agenda 111: Not A Single Hospital Is ‘Operational’ But Akufo-Addo Already Spent 400 Million Dollars – Mahama Shockingly Reveals

President John Dramani Mahama heading into Parliament to deliver his maiden State of the Nation Address

President John Dramani Mahama says the Akufo-Addo government commenced its Agenda 111 district and Regional hospital project without a funding source to complete the hospitals.

According to him, not a single hospital under this project is operational across the nation.

“There is no dedicated funding source for this gargantuan project. Mr. Speaker, for the record, as I speak not a single Agenda 111 hospital is operational in any part of Ghana. I challenge you, not one is operational.”

He also shockingly revealed that the previous government has already spent a whopping 400 million dollars on executing this “gargantuan project”, albeit without a clear focus by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on how to complete them.

“…it is worth disclosing that 400 million US Dollars has already been disbursed under the Agenda 111 project. Mr. Speaker, at a rate of approximately 80 million dollars per hospital, this US $400 million spent could have completed and made operational at least 22 of those hospitals.”

The President made this known while delivering his first State of the Nation Address on the floor of Parliament.
