Akufo-Addo/Bawumia Govt Is The Only Govt In Ghana That Adds Value To Our Resources – Mireku Duker

Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, George Mireku Duker has appealed to Ghanaians to repose confidence in the Vice President and presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to move Ghana forward.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show regarding the NPP 2024 manifesto which was launched at GSTS in Takoradi on Sunday, August 18, Mireku Duker described their manifesto as the best offering bold soluti0ns to the economic challenges confronting Ghanaians.

He discouraged the citizenry from believing the words of the former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, who has promised a 24-hour economy.

He reminded the citizens of the economic difficulties that characterized the Mahama administration and, to him, juxtaposing it with the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia reign, the current administration is far better option to develop the nation.

He listed some of the achievements under the leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo with particular mention of the government’s flagship policy, the Free Senior High School (SHS).

“Beyond the free secondary school, in terms of infrastructure, it is unprecedented”, he said.

Mireku Duker stressed this government is the only government that adds value to the economy, hence called on the citizens to vote for Dr. Bawumia to win the December 7 polls.

“This is the only government under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that talk of value addition to our bauxite. This is the only government that, for the first time in the history of Ghana, to talk about refining our gold, that is gold refinery and has commissioned the first gold refinery in this country.”
