All Contractors Working On ‘Agenda 111’ Hospitals Have Left Site? – Nana B Slams Mahama
NPP National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye says the contractors working on the former Nana Akufo-Addo’s “Agenda 111” hospital project have all left the site.
According to him, the contractors have left because the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, has shown no commitment to complete them.
Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” flagship programme, Nana Boakye said; “There was no allocation for Agenda 111, such an ambitious project. So, all the contractors have left the site.”
Alluding to the President’s promise prior to the 2024 elections that he would complete the Agenda 111 project, the NPP National Organizer wondered why John Mahama has given less attention to the project.
“How can thse President abandon such an ambitious project to promote the health of Ghana?”, he queried.
The Agenda 111 hospital project was introduced by the erstwhile Akufo-Addo government.
The previous government, through this project, was constructing the hospitals in the districts and Regions to boost the health sector but the future of the project looks bleak as President John Mahama has raised concerns over financing it.
