America Not Ready For Female President Neither Will Ghana Be Ready For Female Vice President – NDC Told

Bernard Allotey Jacobs

Allotey Jacobs has deflated the arguments being made by some members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the victory of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States means John Dramani Mahama will win Ghana’s presidential election on December 7.

Trump defeated Kamala Harris by polling 279 of the electoral votes while the latter garnered 223.

Following the declaration of Trump as President-elect, there is an influx of social media posts indicating an emphatic victory for Mr. Mahama who equally happens to be a former President seeking re-election while he goes against a sitting Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

While the NDC is happy with the outcome of the US election, Allotey Jacobs is of a strong view that the US election outcome will be nowhere close to Ghana’s election outcome.

According to him, the NDC is living under an illusion thinking Mahama has already won the December 7 polls because of Donald Trump.

“I’d wish to see a female President in Ghana. For Harris to lose the elections, America is not ready for a female President neither will Ghana be ready for a female Vice President”, he remarked during “Kokrokoo” panel discussion show on Peace FM.
