Anti-Gay Bill: ‘My Faith Is Against LGBTQ’ – Mahama Declares

Former President of Ghana and the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has declared his stance on the issue concerning the homosexual community.

There is a bill awaiting parliamentary approval to outlaw homosexual practices and any related activities of the LGBTQ+ society.

According to former President Mahama, he shares strong faith against homosexuality and doesn’t support it in principle.

“My faith is against LGBTQ…because the faith I have doesn’t permit same sex marriage”, he established.

He also emphasized; “A man is a man; a woman is a woman. I don’t believe a person can wake up to say I feel I am a woman though I’m was born a man, so I am going to change myself into a woman. No! I mean nature created us man and woman and God knew what He was doing when he created us like that…My personal faith is against it.”

Mr. Mahama made this known while addressing some members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress as well as the media.
