Bawumia’s ‘New Path’: ‘I Pity Akufo-Addo’ – Kwesi Pratt
Seasoned journalist, Kwesi Pratt has expressed pity for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia taking his own path in his quest to become President in 2025.
According to Kwesi Pratt, he feels strongly for President Akufo-Addo because of the way, to him, his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his team are treating him.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is scheduled on Wednesday, February 7, to speak to Ghanaians about his vision and in a video heralding his speech day, the Vice President was heard saying though he shares President Akufo-Addo’s vision, he (Bawumia) however has a new path.
Reacting to Dr. Bawumia’s statement that he has his own vision and wants to chart a new path, Mr. Pratt felt Dr. Bawumia is betraying his boss.
“There is nothing this government has done without Bawumia playing a key role in it based on his own record”, he responded on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo”.
Mr. Pratt pitying the President further commented; “My brother, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is tired…Nana Akufo-Addo has become miserable. You (Bawumia and his team) have really troubled Nana Akufo-Addo.”
