Be Very Careful About Removing Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo! -Mahama Told

Former CPP General Secretary, Dr. James Kwabena Bomfeh has cautioned President John Dramani Mahama against removing Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaba Torkonoo.
James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly called Kabila, questioned the legitimacy of the President’s move towards the Chief Justice following a petition to remove her.
The Chief Justice Torkonoo has been suspended, however, she waits to appear before a committee to determine her fate as the head of the Judiciary.
Quoting certain portions of the constitution relating to the removal of the Chief Justice, Dr. Kwabena Bomfeh raised questions about the President’s action.
To him, the President may be set a bad precedent if his removal of the Chief Justice is solely based on their conviction that she is a pro-New Patriotic Party person.
“They should be very careful…I have a problem with second comings of human nature. Trump is proving me right in America, I don’t want to believe President Mahama will prove me right in Ghana. It will be long but won’t stay forever”, he stated.
