Black Sherif Can’t Fill O2 Arena – GMA-UK CEO Asserts

Founder and CEO of Ghana Music Awards UK (GMA-UK), Nii Ofori Tackie a.k.a Alordia says Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif, has not got what it takes to fill the O2 Arena in London.
No Ghanaian musician has yet made history by filling the 20,000 seater auditorium, however Nigerian musicians; Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Asake have all set records by performing sold-out concerts at the arena.
This has raised arguments about whether a Ghanaian musician can also set such a record or not.
On May 3, 2024, Medikal entered his name in the historic books of world music as he sold out the O2 indigo and he has promised his next concert will be at the O2 Arena.
Black Sherif is also one of Ghana’s best exports and he is believed to be the one to send Ghana to the promised land.
“The only person that can fill the O2 Arena is Black Sherif because his music is everywhere”, Hitz FM Presenter and DJ, Andy Dosty once said but Alordia thinks otherwise.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime, Alordia picked Black Sherif as the least choice to make such achievement.
“Now, as we speak… Black Sherif? No!”, he asserted.
He claimed King Promise is more likely to get a bigger audience in London than Black Sherif.
“If King Promise is doing a show right now, I bet you he will get some people from foreign countries to come… King Promise can even get more crowd than Black Sherif in London right now.”
