Ghana’s sudden exit from the tournament following their 2:2 draw with Mozambique today has sent shocking waves down the heart of Ghanaian fans and the media.

Ghana which was 2 goals ahead of Mozambique freely awarded the Mozambicans two chances to equalize, thereby kicking the Black Stars out of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) happening in Ivory Coast.

A video has surfaced showing the media team rushing in for an interview with the players and management to address this humiliating departure from the AFCON but according to Ghanaian Sports journalist, Saddick Adams, security personnel of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has called for reinforcement preventing them from reaching the Black Stars who are reportedly in their bus leaving the stadium.

“CAF security has called for reinforcement. The media just want to meet the team. We are not leaving until they come. We won’t tolerate this level of embarrassment and wastage again. If powers won’t do, we will let them know how it feels to play for this team”, Saddick Adams, according to blogger, Kobby Kyei’s Instagram post, wrote after the match.
