Don’t Be Deceived…Asenso-Boakye Will Win Bantama Seat Again – Bright Nyampo Claims

NPP stalwart, Bright Nyampo says he believes the Member of Parliament for Bantama in the Ashanti Region stands a greater chance to be re-elected by the party’s delegates.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will hold its internal election on Saturday, on January 27, to elect their parliamentary candidates.

At Bantama constituency, the sitting MP is fiercely contested by Kennedy Agyapong’s brother, Ralph Agyapong, who is confident of taking the seat from Asenso-Boakye.

But according to analysis by Bright Nyampo, Kennedy Agyapong’s brother’s dream will be shattered as the delegates have declared their unwavering support for Asenso-Boakye.

“They see Asenso-Boakye as different from Bawumia in their constituency dynamics and so they have different opinions”, he said on Wontumi Online.

He revealed that some delegates have personally contacted the Bantama MP and pledged their allegiance to him saying they “voted Kennedy Agyapong in the presidential election but would vote for him in the parliamentary”.
