Dumelo, Suhuyini, Brogya, Gizella Tetteh, Others Appointed As Deputy Ministers

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Alhassan Suhuyini, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North, and John Dumelo, the MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, as part of a new list of Deputy Minister-nominees.
These nominees are expected to play a crucial role in supporting the substantive ministers in the effective implementation of government policies and programs.
Alhassan Suhuyini is known for his active role in parliamentary debates and his commitment to the development of his constituency is heading to the Roads and Highway Ministry, while John Dumelo, who made his mark in the entertainment industry, and a first-time MP, with his focus on issues of youth empowerment and agriculture is heading to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
The full list of Deputy Minister-nominees is expected to be submitted to Parliament shortly for approval.
The President has also nominated Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba as Minister of State, Public Sector Reforms.
