Election 2024: ‘If You Will Lose, You’ll Lose’ – Dr. Otchere-Ankrah Urges Presidential Aspirants To Work Hard
Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah has called on all the political parties going into the December elections and Ghanaians to maintain peace and stability before, during and after the elections.
He noted that should every person obey the rules governing the elections and desist from anything that could spark violence, the December 7 polls will be violence-free.
Dr. Otchere-Ankrah charged Ghanaians not to follow their parties to do anything untoward and also the Electoral Commission to ensure a free, fair and transparent election beginning with a clean voters’ register.
“You must appear right and you must be seen to be right”, he stated on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show.
The Governance lecturer at the Central University also touched briefly on the prophecies concerning the winner of the elections.
The prophecies are divided between presidential candidates of the New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and former President John Dramani Mahama respectively.
Some Prophets say Dr. Bawumia will win the election and another team holds an assertion that John Mahama will emerge victor with the recent prophecy coming from renowned Apostle, Isaac Owusu-Bempah, in favor of Mr. Mahama.
But to Dr. Otchere-Ankrah, to win or lose the elections though it largely depends on God, however the candidate who works hard and builds trust with the electorates is the one who can win.
“If you will lose, you will lose. God makes a King. That’s what our faith tells us…God does whatever he wants; His will will surely come to pass”, he said.
