Yaw Asani Tano, a socio-political analyst, has applauded the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Dominic Ayine over his discoveries regarding cases of corruption that officials of previous Akufo-Addo administration are alleged to have committed.

The Attorney-General, on Monday, March 24, raised allegations against some people with one of them being the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu Boahene.

Kwabena Adu Boahene, according to Dominic Ayine, siphoned monies belonging to the State into his private accounts to purchase properties and fund the luxury lifestyle of his wife.

Being cited in a $7 million cyber defence system scandal, Adu Boahene is said to have acquired 27 houses at $295000 each among other properties located in Ghana and abroad, specifically in London.

The A-G also warned that if what suspect, Adu Boahene and his wife have done is like a Thrilla in Manila”, then Ghanaians should brace themselves for what he termed as a “Rumble in the Jungle” in the next few weeks.

Discussing this on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo” programme,  Yaw Asani Tano was very pleased with the works and method adopted by Dominic Ayine in exposing the alleged corrupt officials.

“For the first time in the history of the 4th Republic, we are witnessing what I will describe as good governance, rule of law, transparency and accountability”, he praised the Mahama administration.
