Ghana To Host 13th African Games In A Magnificent Sports Complex…Check Out The Facilities [VIDEO]
Ghana will from Friday, March 8 to Saturday, March 23, 2024 host the 13th African Games.
This is the second time in history that the games will be decentralized and it will be held in three cities across the nation.
The cities are Accra, Kumasi and Cape Coast in the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Central Regions respectively.
Ghana will be competing in events such as football, athletics, boxing, badminton, cycling, swimming, tennis, table tennis and triathlon among others.
The country is expected to present 500 athletes to participate in the games.
Prior to the games coming off next month, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has been touring the various facilities to check the progress of work.
The Minister is impressed with the state-of-the-art Sports complex, the Borteyman Sports Facilities, built to host the games.
