Ghanaians Must Punish NDC On Dec 7 – Collins Owusu
Former Manhyia North Parliamentarian, Collins Owusu Amankwah has urged Ghanaian electorates to punish the opposition National Democratic Congress on the day of elections.
Collins Owusu Amankwah, speaking regarding the current happening at Parliament resulting in the House going on an indefinite suspension, found the behavior of the members as well as the Speaker “uncouth”.
He noted that the longer Parliament remains suspended, the longer government businesses is delayed, hence affecting the smooth administration of the country.
He asked the Speaker to redirect Parliament to immediately convene, stressing it doesn’t augur well for the House and the nation should the 8th Parliament find no solution to their impasse.
Collins Amankwah, in view of the Minority’s behavior and the Speaker’s defiance to the Supreme Court ruling to stay his order, advised Ghanaians to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He implored the electorates to ensure the party wins majority of the seats in the next Parliament.
“Ghanaians must punish the NDC for what they have done”, he stated on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show.
He asserted that “in any civilized democracy”, the “NDC is finished”.
