Ghana’s 67th Independence Day Celebration [PICTURES]
Ghana, today, marks its 67th independence anniversary at Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
The anniversary is attended by high-profile dignitaries with the President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara being the Guest of Honor for the occasion.
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Vice President who is also the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin graced the function and watched a crowd of students and security personnel march in procession to celebrate the day.
The anniversary themed “Our Democracy Our Pride” is the first-ever national Independence Day in the Region.
