How I Nearly Committed Suicide – Fmr. Ayensuano MP, Samuel Ayeh-Paye
Former Ayensuano MP, Samuel Ayeh-Paye has shared a trying experience that nearly ended his life.
According to him, he once attempted suicide but for a timely intervention by his father.
He narrated that he, after completing school, was involved in a road accident that rendered him immobile and his sudden condition compelled him to try suicide.
Giving a detailed account of his suicide, he revealed he had placed a sponge by his side in a room ready to take his life but was prevented by his father who smelled something fishy about his movements.
Ayeh-Paye advised people in difficult situation not to opt for suicide stating “my attempted suicide started in 2001 and in 2009, I became an MP. So, if you can have a little patience”, the person will notice a significant turnaround in his or her situation.
“Don’t start it because whatever it is, at a point, you will regret your action”, he added.
He made this disclosure on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show.
