Former Ayensuano MP, Samuel Ayeh-Paye has shared a trying experience that nearly ended his life.

According to him, he once attempted suicide but for a timely intervention by his father.

Giving a detailed account of his suicide, he revealed he had placed a sponge by his side in a room ready to take his life but was prevented by his father who smelled something fishy about his movements.

Ayeh-Paye advised people in difficult situation not to opt for suicide stating “my attempted suicide started in 2001 and in 2009, I became an MP. So, if you can have a little patience”, the person will notice a significant turnaround in his or her situation.
