I Don’t Want A Penny From Lil Win – Martha Ankomah Says After Winning Court Case

Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah says she doesn’t want a penny from actor, Kwadwo Nkansah a.k.a Lil Win, after winning a defamation suit against the latter.

Martha Ankomah filed a GH¢5 million defamation lawsuit against Lil Win following some disparaging statements that the Kumawood actor made about her in one of his videos prior to the shoot of his movie titled “A Country Called Ghana”.

Following the final ruling on the case, rumors became rife that Lil Win had been ordered by the court to pay Martha Ankomah GH¢300,000.

But in an interview with Mike 2 on Adom FM and reported in a publication by Nkonkonsa.com, Martha Ankomah is said to have dismissed these reports.

She clarified that Lilwin wasn’t instructed to pay any amount, instead, the court requested he issues an apology.

Martha concluded by emphasizing she has no intention of seeking financial gains from her suit against Lilwin, rather her main aim was to teach him and others a great lesson about the consequences of making defamatory remarks.
