‘I Mean Business’ – Mahama On His 24-Hour Economy Policy

Former President and leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has reinforced his commitment to fulfilling his promises to Ghanaians, particularly regarding his 24-hour policy.

Having a dialogue with members of his party and a section of the Ghanaian populace at an event dubbed the “2024 NDC Policy Dialogue” in Peduase in the Eastern Region on Friday, Mr. Mahama reiterated the initiatives he intends to implement if re-elected into power.

He gave a few highlights which include to scrap the Electronic Levy (E-Levy), reduce his government size among other things he will do to alleviate the plight of Ghanaians.

Expounding on his famous 24-hour policy and other promises, John Mahama reaffirmed his position saying “I mean business on the promises I have made and intend to keep them”.

“Since 2021, I have outlined over 60 different policy proposals, carefully curated to restore our economy and national life in general, to a much better state”, he added.
