I Sold ‘Scraps’ In UK; Made 1 Million Pounds – Cheddar Tells His Story
Leader of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, affectionately called “Cheddar”, has unveiled the source of his wealth as many people question where he got his money from.
The New Force leader, who is known for his opulent living and is currently seeking to be elected President of Ghana, revealed in an interview on Citi TV that he made his first big money in the United Kingdom.
He stated that he worked as a scrap dealer in the UK and also owned a company which helped him to gain much wealth.
He disclosed that he earned a million pounds at the age of 21 while in the UK and established a nightclub in Ghana using 20,000 pounds from his million pounds.
“The first money I made in England altogether was a million pounds and I was 21. I was working for myself, my company was GT, Global Telecommunications and Utilities, I was selling scrap. I had my own office and I had two employees”, he told host Bernard Avle, adding “I started investments at a very young age and what happens when you make investments is that the money goes away and it feels like you are broke again, so it makes you hungry”.
Cheddar promised the youth of Ghana of a major improvement he intends to make in their lives if elected President.
“I think that the New Force is standing for the youth in this country. We believe that in the past four decades, the youth should have the right to be a part of the decision – how and who is going to lead us and how they are supposed to lead us.”
I am the unifier between the youth and the government. I am going to be a President who will give the opportunity to young people, first of all, to be a part of the decision of how this country is choosing leaders.”
