I Want To See Black Stars Play Good Football And Win Games Again – GFA President
President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has promised to make Ghana football well again.
The President, speaking at a press conference, shared some initiatives he and his outfit are undertaking to revamp the national team, Black Stars, and all other clubs in the country.
The football administration organized the press conference on the heels of Ghana’s abysmal performance in the AFCON 2023, hence exiting the tournament at the Group stage.
Mr. Kurt Okraku has since come under a barrage of criticisms with some football enthusiasts and Sports pundits accusing him of ruining the national team and making Ghana unpopular in the Sports arena internationally.
But to Mr. Okraku, he is committed to improving the team and ensuring the nation rises back to its glorious days.
“We cannot afford to neglect any aspect of our football development if we want to see our national teams succeed”, he said, stressing he wants to “see our Black Stars and all our national teams play good football and win games, including all local clubs”.
“How can this be achieved? It starts with the process we are undertaking today – engaging and sharing ideas, getting feedback, and ensuring that we are ready to implement the necessary strategies to bring back the love for football”, he added.
