‘I Wasn’t Feeling Good’ – Nana Ama Mcbrown Reveals Why She Left UTV
Many people have wondered why Nana Ama Mcbrown, one of Ghana’s finest actresses and presenters, took an exit from UTV as the host of their enviable entertainment show “United Showbiz”.
The screen goddess was the first host of the show and the one who started it, made it attractive to Ghanaians and wooed many viewers; however, she broke the hearts of many viewers when she suddenly moved to Media General to host a new show on Onua TV.
There were some controversies over her departure from UTV which resulted in a “media war” between Despite Media and Media General.
After a long period of not directly responding to the issue, the darling girl of the lot of Ghanaians has finally let the cat out of the bag regarding why she left UTV.
In an interview on Starr Chat with Bola Ray, Nana Ama Mcbrown, although establishing her amicable relationship with the Managing Director of Despite Media, Fadda Dickson, who’s the executive producer of United Showbiz, revealed she left the station because she wasn’t feeling good.
She noted that some things conflicted with her vision, hence informing her decision to leave the station.
“When I am working with you and if I am not feeling good, I would want to move on but I would want to move peacefully because I know where my vision is. Media General, if I get tired, I will move. It’s like that with every human being”, she said.
