Dec 7 Election: I’m Happy You Will Vote – Nana Akomea Applauds SDA

Nana Akomea has lauded the Seventh Day Adventists for their resolve to participate in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
The Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church, prior to Saturday’s polls, petitioned the Electoral Commission to revise the electoral date by not holding elections on Saturdays, their Sabbath Day.
Though accepting the petition from the SDA, the Commission however indicated it cannot come into effect this year and has postponed it to 2028.
The SDA, in reply, indicated they wouldn’t vote this year but the church has rescinded their decision, hence informing their members to partake in the election.
Nana Akomea, the Deputy Chairman of NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” morning show, applauded the SDA saying “I am happy they have decided to exercise their franchise”.
