I’m Happy You’ve United; This Is Good For NPP – NAPO Commends Ama Sey And Akwatia NPP Executives

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has applauded the NPP leadership within the Akwatia Constituency for uniting ahead of the upcoming elections.

Wrapping up his week-long campaign tour of the Eastern Region, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh visited the Akwatia constituency, once an NPP stronghold which went to the NDC in the 2020 elections.

Addressing a stakeholders’ engagement at Akyem Wenchi, a town within the constituency, Dr. Opoku Prempeh noted that divisions within the constituency affected the party in the last elections and that he was happy to see all the divided factions coming together and pledging to win the parliamentary seat back for the New Patriotic Party.

Meanwhile, former MP for Akwatia, Mercy Adu Gyamfi (Ama Sey) said she will not be distracted by unfounded allegations against her by some people within the constituency.

She pledged her full commitment to ensuring victory for the NPP in the December 7 elections.

National Women’s Organizer of the NPP, Kate Gyamfua also called for unity among the rank and file of the party in the constituency.
